Calathea Roseopicta, Prayer Plant, Picturata Argentea
Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.
The calathea was given its common name, prayer plant, because its leaves fold together at night, like praying hands. If you’re up early enough you’ll see those leaves relax at sunrise, to collect all the day’s rays.
Keep soil evenly moist spring through fall. Water less often in winter, allowing the potting medium to dry slightly before watering again. Do not allow the soil to get soggy; over-watering may cause root rot and kill the plant.
Nursery pot size 12 cm
Decorative pot is not included
