Adenium obesum thrives in bright, direct sunlight.

Watering

In the Growing Season (Spring-Summer): Water the plant thoroughly when the soil is completely dry. Allow excess water to drain and never let the plant sit in water as it can cause root rot.
In Dormancy (Fall-Winter): During the cooler months, reduce watering significantly. The plant will enter a dormant state, and too much water during this time can be harmful.

Soil

Well-Draining Soil: Use a cactus or succulent mix, or create a mix by combining regular potting soil with sand or perlite.

Temperature

Warm Climates: Adenium prefers warm conditions, ideally between 65°F to 90°F (18°C to 32°C). It is sensitive to cold and should be protected from temperatures below 50°F (10°C).
Frost Protection: Bring the plant indoors or to a sheltered spot if temperatures drop.

Humidity

Low Humidity: This plant thrives in dry environments and does not require high humidity. Keep it in a well-ventilated area.

Fertilizer

Balanced Fertilizer: Feed your Adenium a diluted, balanced fertilizer during its growing season (spring and summer). A 10-10-10 or a fertilizer specifically for succulents works well.
Frequency: Fertilize once a month during active growth but stop feeding during the dormant winter months.

Pruning

Shape and Health: Prune Adenium in the early spring to maintain its shape and encourage bushier growth. Always use clean, sterilized tools to avoid infection.

Repotting

Every 2-3 Years: Repot your Adenium every couple of years, ideally in the spring. This will give it fresh soil and allow you to inspect the roots for any signs of rot.
Pot Size: Choose a pot with drainage holes, and only slightly larger than the previous pot, as Adenium likes to be somewhat root-bound.

Special delivery is available Monday to Friday. Orders with the special delivery placed by 12pm will be dispatched on the same day. Weekend orders with the special delivery option will be dispatched on Monday.

We are unable to ship to the Scottish Highlands, the Islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and the Scilly Isles.

Once your parcel is delivered, we recommend opening it right away. Should any unexpected issues arise, please report them immediately to info@rebelplants.co.uk
Due to the perishable and delicate nature of plants, we do not accept returns except in cases of damage. Since every plant is unique and growth is seasonal, the plant you receive may differ slightly from the one pictured on our website.

We do accept returns on plant pots, accessories, vases, dried flowers, and plant prints. These items must be returned undamaged within 14 days of delivery. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs and packaging. Once we receive the item in unused and undamaged condition, we will process your refund, excluding the original and return shipping costs.

If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. Additionally, if your return brings your order total below the free shipping threshold, the standard shipping cost for your original purchase will be deducted from your refund.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. Claims for returns or refunds must be made within 7 days of receipt, and digital photos of the damaged item, box, and labels are required. We may request the return of the item to process your claim.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns for perishable goods (such as plants or flowers), custom products, personal care items, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please reach out if you have questions about your specific item. We also do not accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Customers are responsible for the proper care of their items; therefore, claims or returns cannot be accepted for mishandled products. Additionally, we do not accept claims or returns if plants have been repotted or pruned.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
