Do ceramic pots need a liner?
While many of our ceramics are glazed to hold moisture, we always recommend using one of our flexible LDPE plant pot liners inside. This prevents soil minerals and salts from leaching through the ceramic over time and protects the finish of your decorative pot. It also makes it much easier to swap your plants and pots as your jungle grows.
Are ceramic pots suitable for outdoor use?
Some of our heavy-duty ceramics are frost-resistant, but most decorative indoor ceramic plant pots should be kept inside during the winter. For outdoor spaces, we recommend our Outdoor Collection, which features materials designed to withstand the expansion and contraction caused by the UK's freeze-thaw cycles.
