Keep your orchid in bright, indirect light and ensure it experiences a slight drop in temperature at night to trigger new spikes. How often should I water an orchid?

Orchids hate 'wet feet.” The best method is to soak the nursery pot in water for 5–10 minutes about once a week, then let it drain completely before placing it back in its decorative pot. A good sign that it's time to water is when the roots turn silvery grey rather than green.
