Phalaenopsis Singolo Orchid XXL Bloom Pet Safe | 4 Colours

PERFECT ADDITIONS:
The Phalaenopsis Singolo orchid is unlike any other moth orchid you will find in the UK. Where a standard Phalaenopsis spreads its energy across a long spray of smaller blooms, the Singolo concentrates everything into a single, show-stopping XXL flower that fills the room with quiet confidence. Available in four beautiful varieties, including the pristine Tosha White, the rich Hida Purple, the soft Mino, and the boldly patterned Victorio, there is a Singolo to suit every interior, every taste, and every person on your gift list.
WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT
That one oversized bloom, often larger than the palm of your hand, carries the kind of visual authority that a cluster of smaller flowers simply cannot match. It is sculptural in a way that makes it feel closer to a piece of art than a houseplant. And yet, for all its drama, the Phalaenopsis Singolo Orchid is wonderfully easy to live with. It thrives on bright, indirect light, needs watering just once a week, and will hold its extraordinary bloom for several weeks when cared for correctly.
One of the most compelling features of this orchid is that it is fully pet safe. If you share your home with cats, dogs, or other pets, orchids are one of the few flowering houseplants you can display without concern, and the Phalaenopsis Singolo is no exception.
The compact 9cm nursery pot makes it ideal for smaller spaces: a windowsill, a desk, a bathroom shelf, or a side table where a larger plant simply would not fit. It brings the full elegance of an orchid into a genuinely modest footprint.
KEY FEATURES
Variety: Phalaenopsis Singolo, a single-stem XXL bloom moth orchid, available in four named varieties:
Mino: soft, delicate tones with a characterful spotted pattern

Hida Purple: rich, deep purple with elegant form
Victorio: bold, striking colourway with standout visual impact
Also available with no flower for those who prefer to grow from bud

Nursery pot size: 9cm diameter, compact and space-friendly
Pet safe: non-toxic to cats, dogs, and other pets
Care level: Easy, suitable for complete beginners and experienced orchid growers
Light: Bright, indirect light; avoid direct sun, which can bleach or scorch the petals
Watering: Water thoroughly approximately once a week; allow roots to dry slightly between waterings, and never allow to sit in standing water.
Humidity: Appreciates moderate humidity; suits bathrooms, kitchens, and well-lit living spaces
Temperature: Prefers 18 to 28 degrees Celsius; avoid cold draughts and temperatures below 15 degrees
Feeding: Use a specialist orchid fertiliser at half strength every two to four weeks during the growing season
Repotting: Every one to two years after flowering, using specialist orchid bark compost
PERFECT FOR
The Phalaenopsis Singolo is a wonderful orchid for anyone who loves beautifully proportioned things. Its compact size makes it suitable for people living in flats, smaller homes, or offices where space is at a premium, but where a sense of considered elegance still matters. The pet-safe nature makes it a particularly thoughtful gift for animal lovers, and the four colour choices mean it is genuinely easy to match to a recipient's interior or personal style. It is a brilliant birthday gift, a housewarming present, a Mother's Day treat, or a simple but meaningful way to say thank you. Rebel Plants delivers UK-wide from London, making this beautiful orchid gift easy to send or receive anywhere in the country.
STYLING TIP
The Singolo's single oversized bloom looks most striking when given room to breathe. Choose a clean, simple plant pot and place the orchid on a raised surface at eye level, such as a side table, bathroom shelf, or kitchen windowsill, in soft morning light. Because the bloom itself is so bold, the rest of the setting should stay calm and uncluttered. For a coordinated display, group two or three Singolo variants in different colours together in matching pots for an instant, gallery-worthy arrangement that still feels effortlessly understated.
