Pumice as a Soil Component: Harnessing the Power of Natural Porosity
When it comes to creating optimal soil conditions for your plants, incorporating the right components is essential. One such component that can greatly enhance soil structure and promote healthy plant growth is pumice. Specifically, pumice in the 2-4mm particle size range is a valuable addition to any gardening or horticultural endeavor.
Derived from volcanic activity, pumice is a lightweight, porous rock with exceptional drainage properties. The 2-4mm particle size variant balances promoting efficient water movement and providing adequate air space within the soil. This means that excess water can easily drain away, preventing waterlogged conditions that can harm plant roots and lead to root rot. At the same time, the pumice particles create small pockets of air in the soil, ensuring that plant roots have access to oxygen, which is vital for their respiration and overall health.
Pumice is supplied in a bag. Colour may vary, as this is a natural material.

Once we receive the item in unused and undamaged condition, we will process your refund, excluding the original and return shipping costs.
If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. Additionally, if your return brings your order total below the free shipping threshold, the standard shipping cost for your original purchase will be deducted from your refund.
