Light: Calathea 'Apple Bee' thrives in bright, indirect light. While it can tolerate lower light conditions, too much direct sunlight can lead to leaf burn and fading of its vibrant colors.

Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Water the plant when the top inch of the soil feels dry. It's advisable to use distilled or rainwater, as Calatheas are sensitive to chemicals found in tap water.

Humidity: High humidity is essential for the health of this plant. Aim for humidity levels of 50% or higher. Regular misting, using a humidifier, or placing the pot on a tray of pebbles with water can help maintain the required humidity levels.

Temperature: The ideal temperature range for Calathea 'Apple Bee' is between 18-24°C (65-75°F). Avoid exposing the plant to cold drafts or sudden temperature changes.

Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix that retains some moisture while allowing excess water to escape. A blend of peat moss, perlite, and orchid bark works well.

Fertilizing: During the growing season (spring and summer), apply a balanced, diluted fertilizer every 4-6 weeks to encourage healthy growth. Reduce fertilization in fall and winter when the plant enters a dormant phase.

Special delivery is available Monday to Friday. Orders with the special delivery placed by 12pm will be dispatched on the same day. Weekend orders with the special delivery option will be dispatched on Monday.

We are unable to ship to the Scottish Highlands, the Islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and the Scilly Isles.

Once your parcel is delivered, we recommend opening it right away. Should any unexpected issues arise, please report them immediately to info@rebelplants.co.uk
Due to the perishable and delicate nature of plants, we do not accept returns except in cases of damage. Since every plant is unique and growth is seasonal, the plant you receive may differ slightly from the one pictured on our website.

We do accept returns on plant pots, accessories, vases, dried flowers, and plant prints. These items must be returned undamaged within 14 days of delivery. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs and packaging. Once we receive the item in unused and undamaged condition, we will process your refund, excluding the original and return shipping costs.

If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. Additionally, if your return brings your order total below the free shipping threshold, the standard shipping cost for your original purchase will be deducted from your refund.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. Claims for returns or refunds must be made within 7 days of receipt, and digital photos of the damaged item, box, and labels are required. We may request the return of the item to process your claim.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns for perishable goods (such as plants or flowers), custom products, personal care items, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please reach out if you have questions about your specific item. We also do not accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Customers are responsible for the proper care of their items; therefore, claims or returns cannot be accepted for mishandled products. Additionally, we do not accept claims or returns if plants have been repotted or pruned.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
