Calathea Zebrina | The Velvety Zebra Plant
Bring a touch of the tropical rainforest into your home with the Calathea Zebrina. Renowned for its remarkable foliage, the Zebra Plant features large, light-green leaves decorated with deep, emerald stripes that mimic a zebra's pattern. Its soft, matte texture sets it apart from typical glossy houseplants, offering a tactile and sophisticated look for any interior.
As a member of the Prayer Plant family, the Zebrina is known for its daily rhythm, gently folding its leaves at night and reopening them with the morning light.
Standing at 40-45cm, it is the perfect size for side tables, desks, or shelf styling.
Why the Calathea Zebrina is a Top Pick:
- Unique Velvet Foliage: Unlike many waxy plants, the Zebrina has a soft, suede-like feel that adds a high-end texture to your decor.
- 100% Pet-Friendly: This plant is completely non-toxic, making it a safe and stress-free choice for households with cats or dogs.
- Natural Air Purifier: It works hard to filter indoor toxins, helping to keep the air in your bedroom or home office fresh and clean.
- Lush Growth: Its dense, upright habit creates an immediate "urban jungle" vibe, even in smaller city flats.
Product Details & Care: Nursery Pot Size: 14cm | Decorative pot not included!
The Perfect Spot: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh midday sun to keep those vibrant stripes from fading.

Great quality, heavy pot that completes my collection...up to now anyway until the plants grow out of them and need repotting. Matched up with others of various sizes and colour ( green)
Beautiful plant, well packaged and well cared for. Happy with my purchase, thank you

Fantastic healthy plants extremely well packaged. Would definitely buy again
