Light

Aglaonema 'Pink Star' thrives in indirect light and can tolerate low light conditions, making it perfect for indoor spaces. However, brighter indirect light will help maintain the intensity of its pink coloration.
Avoid Direct Sunlight: Avoid exposing the plant to direct sunlight as it can scorch the leaves.

Watering

Water the plant when the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry. It's important to ensure the soil is moist but not waterlogged, as overwatering can lead to root rot.
Avoid Standing Water: Make sure your pot has drainage holes to prevent water from sitting at the bottom.

Humidity

Aglaonema enjoys higher humidity levels. If the air in your home is dry, consider placing the plant near a humidifier or using a pebble tray to increase humidity.

Soil

Well-Draining Potting Mix: Use a standard potting mix with added perlite or sand for better drainage. Aglaonema prefers slightly moist but well-draining soil.

Temperature

Ideal Range: The plant prefers temperatures between 65°F to 80°F (18°C to 27°C).
Avoid Cold Drafts: Keep the plant away from cold drafts or temperatures below 60°F (15°C), as it can damage the foliage.

Fertilizing

During the Growing Season (Spring-Summer): Feed the plant with a balanced, water-soluble houseplant fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season. Dilute the fertilizer to half strength to avoid overfeeding.
In the Dormant Period (Fall-Winter): Reduce or stop feeding during the cooler months when the plant’s growth slows down.

Pruning

Remove Damaged Leaves: Occasionally trim away any yellow, brown, or damaged leaves to keep the plant looking fresh and healthy.
Encourage Growth: Pruning can also help shape the plant and promote bushier growth.

Repotting

Every 2-3 Years: Repot the Aglaonema when it becomes root-bound, typically every 2-3 years. Spring is the best time for repotting.

We are unable to ship to the Scottish Highlands, the Islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and the Scilly Isles.

Once your parcel is delivered, we recommend opening it right away. Should any unexpected issues arise, please report them immediately to info@rebelplants.co.uk
Due to the perishable and delicate nature of plants, we do not accept returns except in cases of damage. Since every plant is unique and growth is seasonal, the plant you receive may differ slightly from the one pictured on our website.

We do accept returns on plant pots, accessories, vases, dried flowers, and plant prints. These items must be returned undamaged within 14 days of delivery. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs and packaging. Once we receive the item in unused and undamaged condition, we will process your refund, excluding the original and return shipping costs.

If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. Additionally, if your return brings your order total below the free shipping threshold, the standard shipping cost for your original purchase will be deducted from your refund.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. Claims for returns or refunds must be made within 7 days of receipt, and digital photos of the damaged item, box, and labels are required. We may request the return of the item to process your claim.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns for perishable goods (such as plants or flowers), custom products, personal care items, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please reach out if you have questions about your specific item. We also do not accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Customers are responsible for the proper care of their items; therefore, claims or returns cannot be accepted for mishandled products. Additionally, we do not accept claims or returns if plants have been repotted or pruned.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
