PERFECT ADDITIONS:
Philodendron Brasil is a popular and easily cultivated member of the Philodendron genus, notable for its stunning variegated foliage. It is sometimes referred to as Philodendron Brazil, although this alternative spelling has no impact on the plant's identification or characteristics. The plant is recognised by its heart-shaped leaves and is a resilient species that can endure low-light conditions and cooler temperatures. Its air-purifying properties make it an ideal option for both home and office spaces. Philodendron Brasil can be grown as a trailing plant, cascading gracefully from shelves or bookcases, or as a climber with the aid of a moss pole. This versatile plant is well-suited to various locations throughout the home and is an excellent choice for novice plant enthusiasts or as a gift.
How to Care, Philodendron Brasil:
Water: It is advisable to allow the soil to dry out between watering sessions for Philodendron plants. If the leaves of the plant begin to wilt, it is a sign that the plant is not receiving sufficient water. Baby Philodendron Brasil Plant in a 6cm pot tends to dry out rapidly. It is important to monitor baby plants' soil regularly.
Light: To ensure the optimal growth of your philodendron, it is recommended that it receives ample amounts of bright but indirect sunlight.
Humidity: Although philodendrons can tolerate low-humidity environments, it is optimal for their growth and development to be exposed to higher humidity levels. By increasing the humidity levels, the plant will thrive and display improved health and vitality.
Soil: Soil Mix of: Coco Coir, Perlite, Vermiculite, Pumice, Activated Charcoal, Worm Castings
Toxic to pets and children: Yes
Air purifying: Yes
