Light: Philodendron 'Paraiso Verde' flourishes in bright, indirect light. It is imperative to shield the plant from excessive direct sunlight, as it may result in leaf scorching or fading of the variegation. Conversely, insufficient light can lead to weak growth and diminished variegation. Position the plant near an east or west-facing window or utilize sheer curtains to filter the incoming light.
Watering: Water the plant when the soil's top 2.5-5 cm feels dry. Avoid over-watering, as it can result in root rot.
Temperature: Maintain temperatures within the range of 65-85°F (18-29°C).
Humidity: Philodendron 'Paraiso Verde' thrives in moderate to high humidity levels, ideally around 50-60% or higher.
Pruning: Regularly prune the plant to remove any yellowing, damaged, or dead leaves and to preserve its desired appearance. Use clean scissors to minimize the risk of disease transmission. Pinching back new growth can encourage a bushier growth habit.
