How do I make my orchid bloom again?
Orchid Plants are famous for their ability to re-bloom! Once the flowers drop, prune the stem just above a "node" (a small bump on the stalk). Keep your orchid in bright, indirect light and ensure it experiences a slight drop in temperature at night to trigger new spikes. Using our specialist orchid soil (bark-based) ensures the roots stay aerated and healthy for the next flowering cycle.
How often should I water an orchid?""Orchids hate 'wet feet.” The best method is to soak the nursery pot in water for 5–10 minutes about once a week, then let it drain completely before placing it back in its decorative pot. A good sign it's time to water is when the roots turn silvery grey rather than green.
What is the best light for an orchid?
Orchid Plants love light but are sensitive to heat. A north or east-facing windowsill is usually ideal. If the leaves turn very dark green, they need more light; if they turn yellow or develop spots, they might be getting too much direct sun. We recommend filtered light to keep the blooms vibrant for months.
